Notice, learn, do.

Noticing what you notice is a powerful practice. It begins the process of learning what there is to learn.

But too many us who have finally begun to notice themselves noticing the world are not taking the second step of doing what needs to be done.

Say what needs to be said.

Share what needs to be shared.

Contribute what we think would make the world a better place.

Consider the following.

I notice someone drowning.

I notice a life-preserver next to me.

I notice what I notice.

This is not the point of the practice.

This is just the beginning.

Notice.

I notice someone drowning.

I notice a life-preserver next to me.

I notice what I notice.

I grab the life-preserver.

I stop drowning.

Begin the practice and keep the end in mind. We get more out of life by giving more to life. Find the needs and do something about it.

Let’s go contribute!
