Consuming, processing, & eliminating

Are you eating well?

Are you digesting well?

Are you eliminating well?

By asking three questions, we invite a high quantity and quality of evidence reflecting the health of a system, in this case the gastrointestinal system.

The three stages of a system:

  • consuming
  • processing
  • eliminating

Adapt these three questions to investigate systems of all sort. Some that combine to create a state of well-being within a person or a state of health within an organization.

Food, air, visual input, sound, books, clothes, employees, relationships, money, etc.

Examples:

Are you hearing well?

Are you listening well?

Are filtering the message from the noise?

Are you meeting quality people?

Are you getting to know them well?

Are you ending relationships that compromise your well-being?

Are you earning enough time & money to thrive by contributing value to people?

Are you investing the time & money you earn toward furthering your purpose, benefiting people, and sustaining our planet?

Do you know how much time & money you need to live your version of a “good life” so you can accurately eliminate activities and opportunities that don’t promote its actualization?

Are you taking in information (podcasts, youtube, this blog)?

Are you recognizing patterns and systems and taking time to apply the knowledge to your life?

Are you eliminating the waste (of time)?

See how many systems you can identify in your life that contain these stages.

How efficient (aka healthy) are they?

Once we see these patterns and identify these stages, we intuitively know how to contribute.
